This weekend has been full of celebration. Celebration of a life well lived, and a job well done. With 95 years under his belt and more than a few stories to tell, Russell E. Nelson Sr. was one of my favorite people to spend time with. It would take many words to do justice to such a life, and an entire lifetime to do justice to his legacy. I hope to find myself becoming more and more like him. Though everyone might claim such a thing for their own Grandfather, I can confidently declare that mine was the kindest man I've ever known.
Have a cookie today. I think it might be the secret to a long life.
Strange to think that it has been nearly seven months since this day came. As things come full circle and another graduating class donned in stylish polyester gowns prepares to sit in those cushy red seats, I reflect on the indelible journey that college was and the wonderful people I shared it with.
These grainy, blurry, haphazard photos are the result of an impulsive decision to keep my GoPro camera in my pocket that day. I treasure them as much as any photo I've ever taken.
